Who we are
This website belongs to AA Design Group, a family-owned interior design and renovation company serving St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and the Greater Hamilton area. We're responsible for the personal information you send through it.
This policy explains what the website collects, why, who handles it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us about it.
What the quote form collects
When you ask for a free consultation, the form collects:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- The project's address
- What you're renovating, a description of the project, and whether you have drawings
- When you'd like to start, the kind of appointment you prefer and your budget range
- How you heard about us
- Any photos you add
How we use it
We use what you send to:
- Get back to you about your project and book your consultation
- Prepare a proposal and, if you go ahead, do the work
- Confirm your request by email and follow up about it for up to six months
- Understand which of our ads and pages bring in requests
Where your information goes
Your request is saved in the website's own database and your photos in its own file storage, both hosted by Cloudflare. A copy comes to our business email.
A few service providers help run the website: a web host and storage (Cloudflare), an email delivery service (Resend), our business email (Google Workspace), and a spam check that confirms a visitor is a person (Cloudflare Turnstile). They handle your information only to provide those services.
Address suggestions in the form come from Google Maps. The website asks Google on your behalf, so Google sees the letters you type but not your device or your other answers.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Google, Facebook and Instagram. Unless you turn it off, the website tells those platforms (Google and Meta) that someone visited a page or sent a request, so we can show our ads to people likely to be interested and see which ads work. Contact details are scrambled (hashed) before they're sent, and never sent in plain text.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, which shows how visitors use the site, such as where they click and scroll, with anything typed into the form hidden.
You can turn ad tracking off at any time with the notice at the bottom of the screen or the "Ad settings" link in the footer. Your choice is remembered for a year.
How long we keep it
We keep a request for up to two years after we last hear from you, and the records of a job we did for as long as the law and our warranty require. Then we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. Every follow-up email has an unsubscribe link, and we stop as soon as you use it.
